Versatile Communication – Social Styles

Develop And Embed Authentic, Collective Leadership In Your Organisation

Programme Overview

This programme is based around the Social Styles matrix and explores the importance of interpersonal versatility for communication within and between teams. After being profiled, participants discover their Social Style and interpersonal versatility rating, based on the perceptions of people they work with. During the workshop, participants learn how to identify others’ styles and, based on understanding their own and others’ style, learn to modify their own behaviours to reduce relationship tension and communicate more easily and effectively with others. The programme also helps participants learn how to interact more effectively with people under stress and in conflict so they can make high-risk conversations positive and productive.

Duration: 2-5 days (can be spread out into half-day modules)

What Is Social Style?

There are four unique Styles. Each Style has different ways of using time, interacting with others, and making decisions. Some people think and work quickly, others more slowly. Some prefer to be informed through detailed data and others through stories or personal experiences. In the Versatile Communication programme, you will discover your own preferences and how to identify the preferences of others. You can then use these insights to moderate your behaviour to make the other person more comfortable in interactions.

Create strong, productive relationships with anyone by treating them the way THEY want to be treated.

Why Do You Need Versatile Communication Skills?

It is more than IQ, education, or experience that drives high performance. A key factor is a person’s ability to create good relationships. Mastering versatile communication will help you and your organisation:

  Improve team effectiveness

  Reduce personality conflicts

 Improve diversity and inclusiveness

  Build a common culture

  Boost employee engagement

  Increase and improve sales
